How to Use This Tool
1. Enter your details
Fill in Belt No. and Name, then enter your Date of Joining and Retirement Date. Results appear automatically.
2. Non-Duty Period (NDP)
Add NDP periods (suspension, unauthorised absence, dies-non, etc.) with From and To dates. NDP days are excluded from service — they reduce effective days per phase and lower total EL earned. Each entry auto-calculates its duration.
3. Leaves Availed
Add each block of EL taken as a separate entry. Choose the type:
Leave — regular earned leave
LTC — leave for Leave Travel Concession
Both types reduce your EL balance and feed the Recommendation calculation.
4. Key Milestones
300 EL — maximum encashable at retirement. Aim to retire with exactly 300 days.
450 EL (Cap) — absolute ceiling. EL earned beyond 450 is lost. Know this date and avail leave before hitting it.
5. Recommendation
Answers: "How many EL days should I avail per year from today to retire with exactly 300 days?"
Formula: (Total EL earned − 300 − Already availed) ÷ Years remaining from today
6. Saving & switching
Each Belt No. is stored separately in your browser. Use chips to switch between saved employees. Use Export to back up data; Import to restore.
